Production
color at
spec.
Your imagePRESS is not an office copier that happens to print fast. It's a production device calibrated to tolerances that matter to your clients. We service it like one.
Color management
is a maintenance item
The imagePRESS color engine drifts with temperature, humidity, drum wear, and toner lot variation. A press that printed to spec last month may not today. We treat calibration as part of PM — not a separate billable event.
Spectrophotometric measurement
We print an IT8.7/4 target and measure it with a calibrated X-Rite spectrophotometer. This gives us your current device state — not what Canon says it should be.
ICC output profile build
Profile built from actual measurement data. If your shop works to GRACoL 2013 or FOGRA51, we build the device link to hit that standard on your stock.
TRC / density linearization
Transfer curve and density linearization through the imagePRESS service menu and the Color Calibration Tool — not through RIP settings that mask underlying drift.
Pass/fail against ΔE target
We print a verification target and measure ΔE against your standard. We document the before/after numbers and leave the printout with you. If it doesn't pass, we investigate why.
Production press services
Repair, calibration, and maintenance written for an ops manager — not a general office manager.
Full Production PM
Drum assembly, fuser belt, ITB unit, primary transfer roller, secondary transfer roller, cleaning blade. All reset via service menu — no workaround counter reset. We document page counts before and after.
OEM or OEM-spec parts only

Finishing systems
are not optional
A production press that can't fold straight, staple cleanly, or perfect-bind without spine crease isn't a production press — it's a fast copier with expensive problems at the back end. The inline finisher is part of the machine.
We diagnose and repair the booklet maker, saddle stitch unit, multi-fold module, and perfect-bind unit with the same rigor as the print engine. We test with your actual stock weights and your actual imposition files before we leave the job site.
If your binding crease is off by 2mm and it's been that way for six months, that's a job for a technician who knows the fold adjustment procedure — not a setting in your RIP.

Production down or
color off?
Call with the model number and the symptom. We triage on the call and tell you if this is a same-day fix, a parts order, or a calibration job. We don't dispatch guessing.
